For faculty who are considering employment with USC, questions about employment opportunities for your spouse or partner should be directed to your department chair, dean of faculty, or other designated point of contact within your department or school. More information can be found here.
The University of Southern California is committed to the development and growth of its faculty. Each school is responsible for developing and implementing faculty mentoring programs. The university also recognizes excellence in faculty mentoring through the annual USC Mellon Mentoring Awards and maintains a list of previous recipients by school. Additionally, an advisory group of senior faculty mentors with interests in diversity and inclusion are available to act as advisors and meet with faculty individually upon request.
Throughout its storied history, USC has placed a high value on being a good neighbor—and on programs and projects that have a positive impact on surrounding neighborhoods. Our commitment to community-building can be seen at every level of the university. It encompasses the participation of our research facilities, individual schools, departments, and programs, as well as our hospitals and health centers. USC Civic Engagement supports and promotes more than 400 community initiatives in our local neighborhoods.
