Learning & Design Technology(LDT)

Learning & Design Technology supports faculty and IT managers who are incorporating educational technologies to enhance courses and academic programs at USC. LDT offers design and assessment services, learning management system (Blackboard) support, training and workshops, and presentations and events.

Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET)

The Center for Excellence in Teaching’s prime directive is to advance learning at all levels by providing and coordinating activities and programs that promote and support effective teaching and mentoring. The CET offers a number of workshops and resources to help faculty develop and strengthen their teaching, including a video archive of past events. Services include collegial consultations, individual consultations, course design consultations, video recorded teaching, and departmental issue consultations.

USC Libraries

USC Libraries has over 15 different locations across both the University Park Campus and the Health Sciences Campus. The libraries’ faculty information guide includes details on activating your library account, accessing teaching and research materials as well as other services that the libraries offer.

Office of Undergraduate Programs

The Office of Undergraduate Programs provides a number of innovative interdisciplinary research and undergraduate education opportunities for students. Faculty are encouraged to engage with students outside of the classroom as part of the Breaking Bread program and provide research opportunities for undergraduate students through the Undergraduate Education Research Program (URAP).

USC Graduate School

The USC Graduate School has primary responsibility for the education and professionalization of the university’s graduate student body.

USC Office of Postdoctoral Affairs

The USC Office of Postdoctoral Affairs serves as the liaison between the Office of the Provost, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, and staff. The office administers the Provost’s signature programs for postdoctoral scholars:

The Division of Student Affairs offers a number of opportunities through theirFaculty Partnerships program for faculty to engage with students in a learning environment outside of the classroom.
