Mentoring is a symbiotic relationship that allows both mentee and mentor to learn and develop from the experience. As a mentor, I have grown from my experiences working with students as well as from the knowledge they have brought me.
Additionally, witnessing the personal and professional growth of a student under my mentorship is tremendously rewarding. The role of a mentor is often far reaching and extends beyond a simple exchange of information. Mentoring brings a pivotal component to a student’s academic experience that can elevate them from a student to a leader.
